We’d just like to alert you to the fantastic talents of KERRY HOWARTH, the master-mind behind what you’ll see outside our festival venues. She spends her time binding tree trunks in thin strips of fabric… and we LOVE IT! We’ve also never seen anything like it. Here’s an example:

We are BAD SHOES FESTIVAL, which means we all wear Crocs, add crumbs to our keyboards, and write with our tongues lolling out. (Well, some of us.)
We are are here to promote new and emerging artists. Our interactive arts festival will be held on the 25TH SEPTEMBER, at Dulcimer and Electrik in Manchester. Full program details will be up soon, but here’s a few of the bare bones details:
ELECTRIK will boast the best in spoken word and crafts, with exhibitions and great beer running throughout the venue.
DULCIMER will be steaming with live music, zine and record fairs, and a live graffitti wall. The first sixty people will get a goodie pack (they’ll all be different, and some will have things that you can eat), and there will be competitions with lovely prizes going on to get you involved. It will all be filmed, and there will be amazing art to see.
If you would like to contribute, let us know. We are looking for four craft stall holders, 14 artists to exhibit, and musicians to get the stage hot. Graffitti artists, we want you too!
